What in the World is Going On NOW?!
A Spiritual Viewpoint
Have you ever experienced amazingly good things and shockingly bad things within hours or days? On Monday, you receive fantastic news and feel ecstatic. “Pinch me,” you think, “is this really happening? Finally!” You are sure that the universe is working with you and life will be good from now on. A short time later, you receive bad news. Suddenly, it feels like there is an ugly energy ganging up on you. “Wow, Universe! I couldn’t even feel great for more than a few hours?! Give me a break! What in the world is going on NOW?!”
Objective witnessing, opening your heart, spirituality and trust - what they all have in common. As an intuitive empath, I live with different emotions in parallel with each other. I am highly sensitive to all the vibrations swirling within me, in others and in the world. At the same time, I imagine my alter ego flying high above me witnessing every drama. By doing this, it allows me to remain mentally objective and spiritually available to intuit the lessons and deeper meaning of the ebb and flow of my life. Am I always successful? No. But it is in my consciousness to trust that there is a higher reason for everything that happens. Above all, as I observe and feel all the highs and lows of my life, I continue to believe in the healing power of love, trust and faith to get me through every situation. Here’s what also works for me and maybe it will work for you, too.

Personal growth tools in good times …
Celebrate and mark this happy moment in a small or big way.
Squeal with the excitement of your inner child. Jump for joy. Do a happy dance.

Stand in your light and share your good news with others.
Spread your positive twinkle everywhere you go and encourage others to go for their dreams, too.
P.S. We often dismiss the good times and focus more intensely on the bad. Make sure you are just as intense about the GOOD times! Which “Card” will you draw upon to get you through the bad and good times?
No matter what happens to you, someone else, or to the world, take out your Curious Card. Allow childlike curiosity to dominate. Ask your highest wisdom, “What can I learn from this experience?”
Take out your Love Card. Don’t wear anything that happens to you as a badge. The bad or the good. You are so much more than what happens. Your past doesn’t define you. Your present doesn’t define you. None of it defines the glory of who you really are. Keep inhaling and exhaling love and you can’t go wrong. Stay in love with life, the goodness in other people, the healing power of nature, and stay in love with the goodness of who you really are. Even if you’ve been hurt, work on opening your heart to giving and receiving love. And for dessert? Take out your Compassion, Kindness and Empathy cards, too.
Take out your “I Am Empowered” card. Even if you dislike conflict, if something feels wrong, empower yourself with information, tune into your intuition, open your heart, and take positive and healthy action. Advocate for yourself, for someone else, or for any issue that concerns the body, mind, spirit, human rights, the environment, fairness and justice. Sometimes just courageously and lovingly standing up for what you believe is a path towards emotional well-being and positive inner growth.
As “they” say, it’s not what happens to us. It’s our reaction to what happens. Witness every event in your life spiritually and dance towards each event with grace. Most of all, remember the wonderful saying by GK Chesterton to get you from the darkness into light: “Angels fly because they take themselves lightly.”
